Privacy Policy

01 Introduction

MetaWMS is a warehouse management solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, operated by MetaOption LLC (“MetaOption”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through the MetaWMS website at metawms365.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

It applies to visitors to our website and to people who contact us, request a demo, or otherwise interact with us. It does not cover the handling of data inside your own Business Central environment, which is governed by your agreement with us and your own privacy obligations.

02 Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly and information collected automatically as you use the site.

Information you provide — when you book a demo, contact us, or fill in a form, this may include your name, business email, company name, phone number, country, job role, and anything you write in a message.

Information collected automatically — when you visit, we may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and interactions, through cookies and similar technologies.

03 How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and provide the demos or information you request
  • Communicate with you about MetaShip, including relevant product updates where you have opted in
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website and understand how it is used
  • Protect the security and integrity of our site and systems
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

05 Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us run the site and our business — for example, hosting, analytics, email, and CRM providers — under agreements that require them to protect it
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants where necessary
  • Authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

06 Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some may affect how the site works.

07 Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

08 Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit over TLS/SSL. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA/UK (under GDPR) and of California (under CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights, including, for California residents, the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10 International data transfers

MetaOption is based in the United States, and your information may be processed there or in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.

11 Children’s privacy

MetaWMS is a business product not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
